A Lifelong Passion For Health And Fitness

My journey into fitness started at 18, when I made a personal commitment to transform my health and build strength from the inside out. In the first four years, I gained over 50 pounds of muscle—completely changing not just my body, but my mindset and my life. That transformation showed me firsthand the incredible power of fitness, and it’s why I’ve dedicated my career to helping others do the same.

I started training clients at 22, eager to share what I had learned and support others in building strength, confidence, and resilience. I studied Kinesiology at San Diego State University, where I deepened my understanding of how the human body moves, heals, and performs—not just in the gym, but in daily life.

Over the past two decades, I’ve trained people from all walks of life—on military bases with Navy and Marine personnel, in local YMCAs with clients aged 10 to 95, and at World Gym, where I spent 20 years surrounded by elite athletes and bodybuilders. I’ve worked with total beginners, rehab clients, and seasoned lifters—each with unique needs, challenges, and goals. I also co-founded The San Diego Boot Camp and led outdoor fitness classes at Mission Bay for three years, bringing high-energy group training to one of the most beautiful spots in the city.

A Balanced Approach to Lifelong Health

To further expand my ability to help people move and feel better, I completed a 500-hour massage therapy program at The School of Healing Arts and became a certified massage therapist. This experience gave me a deep appreciation for muscle recovery, fascia health, and injury rehabilitation—insight that I use every day in my training approach.

Today, I train clients at Ocean Pacific Gym & Wellness, just steps from the Pacific Beach boardwalk. I continue to study, refine, and evolve my methods—staying on top of the latest research in functional fitness, longevity, and recovery so I can deliver the best possible results to every client I work with.
